my dream

is coming true before my eyes.

when i was 5 my mother and i were at the library and the librarian suggested a video that i might like. it was called linnea in monet's garden, so we rented it. i watched it as soon as we got home. i was hooked.

this began my obsession with europe, france, monet, and anything do to with these things. i've begged my mother to go to europe since i saw that video. monet is my favorite artist. i've loved anything and everything having to do with france. i have taken 8 years of french. i'm long overdue for a trip.

so i saved all of my graduation money. and have been saving here and there. saving saving saving.

then came the hard part. the search. the search for the jelly to my peanut butter. the cheese to my macaroni. the travel companion that would be in it for the long haul with me. the mash to my bangers.

found her!

and as of tuesday january 27 at 5:50 pm mountain standard time we are officially offical to the most official power. we have plane tickets. nothing can stop us now!

oh i cannot tell you how uncontrollably excited i am about europe. it is just too much excitement to contain!! i shall express my excitement in pictures =)

i'm being selfish

i have two blogs now
but i really think it's proper for me to separate my happy imaginary world and my dreary life posts.

this will be my happy blog, where everything is peachy keen. the sky is blue. the clouds are white and fluffy. and the tea and cupcakes are always perfect. and there's cute little dinos everywhere.

this will be my happy creative outlet. poetry, photography, and pretty things will be here.

my real life will still be at my other blog. i will do my deeper writing, venting and things of that nature there...
